Design and Project Assistant
Valerie’s passion for design has been the cornerstone of her lifelong career. After earning her bachelor's degree in Interior Design, she began her journey in the commercial sector, designing workspaces. A few years later, she transitioned into residential new construction- where she discovered her true calling in home design. Her talent and expertise were instrumental in helping smaller building companies grow into well-respected names in the industry.
When her children were young, Valerie made the intentional choice to step away from design as her primary focus. During that time, she obtained her real estate license and served as a paraprofessional working with children. While she deeply values those years and the impact she made, she eventually felt a creative void—realizing just how much she missed the joy and fulfillment that design brought into her life.
With her children now grown, Valerie made the courageous decision to return to her passion, leaving the security of her previous job to re-enter the design world. Today, she plays an essential role on the House to Home team—bringing a wealth of knowledge, thoughtful organization, and unwavering attention to detail. Valerie ensures every aspect of a project is carefully considered and effectively communicated from design through execution.
